Join Us for a Cultural Celebration of Uzbekistan at EXPO 2025 Osaka

On May 18th, at 2pm at EXPO Hall, a gala concert will be performed by the National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan and Trio Richter with Conductor Alibek Kabdurakhmanov.

The Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation is honoured to invite you to a special Gala Concert held as part of EXPO 2025 Osaka, showcasing the enduring artistic heritage of Uzbekistan and the cultural ties between Japan and Uzbekistan.

The concert programme features works that blend musical traditions of both countries — including a world premiere of a specially commissioned piece celebrating this unique artistic dialogue.

The event venue is located within the EXPO 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo site. All participants are therefore required to purchase a ticket to EXPO 2025.

The registration form must be completed individually by each participant.


Alibek Kabdurakhmanov: Chief Conductor of the National Symphony Orchestra, he is a leading figure in Uzbekistan’s musical scene, known for championing contemporary compositions and acclaimed theatre productions.

National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan: Founded in 1937, the Orchestra is a major cultural institution in Central Asia, performing globally and embracing a repertoire from Uzbek classics to modern works, with a strong focus on youth education and audience engagement.

Kirill Richter & Richter Trio: Kirill Richter leads the Richter Trio in performing his acclaimed modern classical works worldwide, with highlights including scores for global events, major festivals, and releases under Deutsche Grammophon.
