Kenji Yoshida Visited Uzbekistan Pavilion at EXPO 2025

The Uzbekistan Pavilion at EXPO 2025 was visited by Kenji Yoshida, Senior Advisor to the EXPO 2025 Association and Honorary Professor at the National Museum of Ethnology in Japan.

During his tour of the pavilion, he highlighted the rich history and culture of the Uzbek people and noted the impressive design and concept, especially the architecture of the terrace, which has become a centre of attraction for EXPO visitors. According to him, the Uzbekistan Pavilion is a vivid symbol of cultural exchange between Uzbekistan and Japan.

Kenji Yoshida also emphasised that in March 2026, the National Museum of Ethnology in Osaka will open an archaeological exhibition entitled ‘Stories of Merchants along the Silk Road’, organised jointly with the Uzbekistan Culture and Arts Development Foundation.

At the end of his visit, the guest left a warm message in the Guest Book and expressed his desire to visit Uzbekistan in the near future.
