Sustainability
Uzbekistan's vision for the future is rooted in sustainability. This is reflected in countless initiatives, from the nation's green transportation plans to its clean energy projects – and it's also deeply embedded into the spirit of the Uzbekistan Pavilion. The "garden" of the Pavilion at its apex is home to a "forest" of trees, brought to life using sustainably sourced timber from nine locations across Japan – and as indicated in the map below, each wood is defined by its own unique characteristics and processes, heritage and stories.
